Safe Haven
Project realized thanks to a charity campaign as part of Letnia Gra MultiSport and Dobry MultiUczynek
In the project “Safe Haven”, we renovated and equipped the social and therapeutic spaces of the Youth Empowerment Center “CUMA” and financed individual therapy for the youth. Our space now looks modern and is more welcoming for our beneficiaries.
Thanks to the financing we were able to:
- Conduct 19 therapy sessions for 10 beneficiaries of our Foundation,
- Renovate the kitchen, including the purchase of kitchen furniture,
- Add two armchairs for the therapy room.
At the Youth Empowerment Center, we conduct workshops for expanding knowledge and developing social competence, as well as skills necessary for everyday life – such as how to cook economically, one exceptionally important for our youth. Until now, our spaces were not well suited for such activities. We enlarged the space through its’ renovation and purchasing furniture (including a large table for group activities, chairs, and a stove with an oven). We can’t wait for the next cooking workshops in the new kitchen! 🙂
The therapy room, its equipment, and decor are crucial in building a sense of security and trust for the patients. Thanks to the support received in the project we purchased two armchairs that, besides providing great comfort, introduce cheerful colors to the room where individual meetings with our youth and psychotherapy sessions take place.
We provide our beneficiaries with constant psychotherapeutic support. The financed therapy sessions are another step towards the well-being and mental health of our youth.
